While it seems like I haven't done much here in a LONG time, I actually have had a few new pieces. I just need to stop being lazy and get them online.

I finally put The Monster to "rest" by finishing the piece. Looking that deep into one's soul is taxing.

New updates on The Monster and The Subway. I've also added two old pieces from the late 90s. I've dug up a stash of some of my really old stuff that I'll work on adding in the near future.

The Monster finally gets a base layer to show where I want to go with the painting. Darker tones and more graphic details will be added in the next stage.

Updates added for both The Subway and Monster paintings. As you can tell by looking at them, they're progressing in different manners. The color and tone of The Subway piece is noticeably changed since the original base was finished. The Monster, though is progressing in the general path I assumed it would.

I've gone ahead and opened up the Process area. Below are the images I've dropped in as starting points for two works that I'm developing. I also have some base sketches that I'm developing for a series of images that a close friend inspired me to start with her poetry.

After a bit of a break, I decided to get back to adding pieces to the site. I've added a cleaner image of At the Mountains of Madness 3 and the two pieces below. Both are actually deviations from common styles I have preferred to use. I am currently working on two new pieces - one an addition to the Mind Goes to Dark Places series and the other a new piece that probably doesn't fall too far away stylistically. In the near future, I plan on adding a new section called The Process, where I will post images of these two paintings during their development.

Just finally got the site up and running in a fashion that can actually be browsed. There are sure to be links pointed in the wrong direction and I know that some the images need to be reshot because their either too blurry or not shot dead-on. These are things I will fix in the near future.

I also plan to fill in the decriptions for both the series and single images to explain why I did the paintings, what techniques I used and what influences that I obviously took from (and why when I have a good explanation).

I do physically own all of these works and none have been digitally created or altered (outside of cleaning up the digital images where they fail to match the color of the original pieces). I have watermarked the pieces for my own protection, so please don't lift these and try to pass them off as your own. I hate to be that way, but these pieces are very personal to me and I do not care for people stealing my work.

Usually, I would like to post new images to the site on the front page, but since the whole site is technically new, I'll start with the series I recently just finished. Please feel free to visit the Series and Misc. pages for more images and return later when I get my lazy ass around to filling in more concrete details.
